Maine Sail is a hypothetical company I created to display potential signage designs for a client. This project covered all steps in the design and production process. The first step was to design a logo that would stand out when printed directly on woodgrain. For that reason, I created a simple yet bold design that also captured a small slice of Maine.

 

Next, I created a variety of layouts that best matched the precut wooden signs. Once the signs were reformatted and able to be printed, they were quickly fabricated and sent to the clients. This project resulted in new business and more discussions for future projects.
